There has been a lot of talk today regarding the capture and killing of one of America’s greatest enemies, but you cannot always believe the mainstream media. Let God’s Word be true and every man be a liar. The Lord specifically addresses our enemies, In Matthew 5:44 it says “Love your enemy, bless them that curse you…”, also in Romans 12:20 we are instructed to feed our enemy if he hungers and to give him drink if he thirsts. For God so loved this evil world that He gave His only begotten Son…and what do we do when the media tells us that someone “evil” has fallen? Rejoice in the streets and sing patriotic songs? NO! Now, more than ever, we need to pray, fast and seek God’s face. I never really liked the “sky is falling” rhetoric, but if we were to follow the signs outlined in scriptures, the times are looking pretty perilous, so for me, making sure that my soul is ready for Jesus is of paramount importance. Don’t be like the foolish virgins and not have oil for your lamp. Turn OFF the biased media and use your discerning spirits to hear what the spirit of God is saying to the church (YOU).
